Dominic Pecoraro says going to Trine is the best choice he could have made.

When Dominic came to Trine for a visit, he immediately felt connected with the people on campus and could tell the professors genuinely cared about his success.

"The more knowledge and experience you gain, the better prepared you will be for anything you are faced with in the future."- Dominic Pecoraro

He made the decision to study marketing at Trine. Dominic says he became interested in marketing because he enjoys talking to people and encouraging their excitement in a product. He also likes the broadness of the marketing major and the wide realm of possibilities it presents.

Trine offered a wealth of real-world experiences and new lessons. Dominic says his time in college more than prepared him for his current position.

“I was presented with more opportunities at Trine than most of my friends had in their entire college career,” he said.

Dominic is a marketing coordinator at MS-IL Staffing and Packaging. He started out as a social media intern, but his job kept expanding until he was running an entire department.

“If I had one piece of advice for the students at Trine, it would be to be a sponge of information,” he says. “If an opportunity presents itself to you, take it. Remain a student in your work. Don’t stop learning and searching for answers just because you graduated. The more knowledge and experience you gain, the better prepared you will be for anything you are faced with in the future.”
