Take your career to the next level!  Find the academic programs available in a hybrid model for international graduate students. 

Trine University’s Center for Montessori Education offers an intensive one-year Master of Education in Montessori Education at the Early Childhood level. This program provides in-person coursework on Trine's Angola campus during June and July, followed by a nine-month practicum teaching in a Montessori classroom. Trine University's Doctor of Physical Therapy program is offered in-person at the university's Health Sciences Education Center in Fort Wayne. For more information, visit the Doctor of Physical Therapy program page.

To complete the online application, please make sure to have the following documents:

  • Provide the following:
    • Academic transcripts
    • Financial guarantee (U.S. Department of Homeland Security requires all international students to demonstrate ability to pay fees.)
    • Copy of passport
    • Statement of purpose (explaining your desire to pursue a graduate degree)
    • Resume/CV
    • GRE/GMAT (is recommended)

Seated classes are offered at Trine University's Detroit Education Center and the Phoenix Education Center.

How to Transfer:

In order to begin the transfer-in process, students must first:

- Apply and be accepted by Trine University.  Please apply at https://www.trine.edu/international.

- Complete the Trine Graduate Program Enrollment Agreement form (found in your acceptance and preparation emails). 

Transfer Credits:

A maximum of six (6) semester hours of graduate course credit may be counted toward completion of a graduate degree at Trine University with a grade of B or above and with the approval of the program chair/director and dean. All other courses must be taken at Trine University. Transfer credit will not include a grade and, therefore, will not impact the student’s GPA. Courses used to satisfy the requirements of a bachelor’s degree cannot be applied to a master’s degree. The final 15 credit hours must be received within Trine University. This transfer credit policy does not apply to the Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Physician Assistant Studies, Master of Science in Nursing, and Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology programs.

To request transfer credit, current Trine University students must submit the Transfer Credit Request Form and include syllabi and course descriptions from each course they are requesting to transfer in.

Note:

  • Course transfers must be equivalent to Trine University courses. This is reviewed by the graduate programs team. Not all course requests are granted.
  • Course transfers are only accepted from US institutions.
  • Evaluations will be completed after the student's first successful semester at Trine University.
