After working as a manager and director for a Fortune 500 company for several years, I began teaching at Trine. I consider myself a lifelong learner and want to pass my love of learning and my experience in the corporate business world on to the students I teach, as well as learn from them. I have taught various classes at Trine University: Professional Studies students, undergraduate and graduate students on main campus and online. I currently teach online and develop courses for TrineOnline as well as serving as a Program Matter Expert for the business and MBA programs. I have received a certificate for completion of the Quality Matters APPQMR program. The APPQMR information has helped in the development of the Open Educational Resources (OER) online courses, a new concept for TrineOnline that students have enthusiastically embraced.

My husband and I live at Lake James in Angola and have two grown children who work in the medical field. I serve on the board of the Lake James Association, where our main mission is to promote the enhancement and preservation of lake resources. I enjoy boating, reading, gardening, genealogy research and traveling. We have traveled to Europe a few times, the islands of the Caribbean, and 45 of the 50 states in the U.S. Five to go!
