Change is the nature of my personal educational philosophy. As a teacher I, am also a learner. My most significant learning experiences have come from my students. I am open to suggestions and continue to be flexible while meeting the needs of my students. Yes, my personal philosophy is constantly changing and improving.
When I have time to spare, I like to get my hands dirty in the garden, golf, play piano, cross stitch, and read. I have been taking golf and piano lessons for years . . . . I am sure my name will never appear on the LPGA roster, and you'll never see me in Carnegie Hall, but I am having fun trying. I also enjoy exercise, specifically walking. When the weather is mild, you will find me walking energetically down the long, winding roads where my husband and I live.
Originally from New York (me) and Indiana (husband Bill) we currently spend time in Michigan and Florida. We are a blended family, which includes seven children, a bunch of grandchildren, and several grand pets.
