Lisa SchallFORT WAYNE — Trine University has promoted Lisa Schall to the new position of executive assistant for the College of Health Professions (CHP).

In her new role, Schall will serve as the senior administrative assistant for the CHP, providing administrative support to its assistant vice president and one of its academic programs.

“Lisa has done tremendous work for Trine University’s College of Health Professions,” said Shane Steele, assistant vice president for the College of Health Professions. “This well-deserved promotion will position her to better support our continued growth and the eventual launch of the new Trine University Fort Wayne campus.”

Schall previously served as administrative assistant for CHP administration and the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Trine, a position she had held since 2020.

Prior to coming to Trine, she worked in human resources roles at Manchester University, Saint Anne Home and Retirement Community, Fort Wayne Wire Die and Lincoln Foodservice Products.

She earned a Bachelor of Applied Management degree from Trine University in 2000.

Trine University founded the College of Health Professions in 2013 at Parkview Health’s Randallia location. The CHP is home to the university’s first doctoral program, the Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, as well as other graduate and undergraduate degree programs preparing students for careers in healthcare.

In June, Trine University announced it will greatly expand its capacity to help meet healthcare needs in Allen County and the surrounding region through a new $40 million, 120,000-square-foot academic facility housing CHP programs, working in close partnership with Parkview Health.

Trine plans to begin construction on the facility, which will be designated Trine University Fort Wayne, as soon as all necessary approvals are received, with the building projected to open in Fall 2024.
