Trine podcast discusses career path for athletic directors

Eric RoldanTrine University alumnus Eric Roldan, athletic director at Hammond, Indiana’s Bishop Noll Institute, talks about his career path and the rewarding parts of his job in the newest episode of Trine University’s Center for Sports Studies podcast.

Roldan graduated from Trine in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in sports management and marketing, and went on to earn a master of business administration from IU Northwest. Before assuming his current position, he coached at the middle school level and at a YMCA, served as a physical education teacher, and was an assistant men’s basketball coach at IU Northwest.

Produced through the Trine Broadcasting Network, the Trine Center for Sports Studies is a bi-weekly podcast focused on the business side of sports, including interviews with sports professionals and current research in sports studies. Hosted by Center director Brandon Podgorski, the podcast is available at css.transistor.fm as well as on platforms such as Spotify, iTunes, Google Play and Stitcher.
