New TrineLine podcast discusses student debt, scholarships

Trine University has posted a new episode of the TrineLine podcast, a monthly discussion with university President Earl D. Brooks II, Ph.D., on the latest news from the university and issues in higher education.

In this episode, Dr. Brooks talks about the university’s recent successful Scholarship Gala, and how the Gala and other efforts help keep student debt low for Trine University students. The episode also covers how Dr. Brooks would try to solve the national student debt crisis if he were president of the United States, and what he thinks actually will happen on this issue. Dr. Brooks also discusses new majors at Trine and the new Trine Center for Sports Studies.
