Harold Campbell 1949 BSCE, of Somers, New York, and his grandson Connor Putman, a junior from Ridgefield, Connecticut, majoring in management, point to seats bearing their names in the Thunder Ice Arena. Harold had made a gift to the Thunder Ice Arena for the seat naming opportunities.

Harold and Connor's mom, Jackie Putnam, traveled to Trine to spend the weekend of Sept. 29-31 visiting Connor and seeing the campus.

Connor is a member of the Thunder Lacrosse team.

INDIANAPOLIS — Bethany Morgan Schmitt, a Trine University sophomore from Fort Wayne, Indiana, majoring in exercise science/pre-physical therapy, was one of 29 first-generation Indiana college students named as a “Realizing the Dream” recipient by the Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI).
