Trine honor society chapter adds 26

Phi Eta Sigma

The Trine University chapter of Phi Eta Sigma recently added 26 students during its annual induction ceremony.

Founded at the University of Illinois in 1923, Phi Eta Sigma is a national honor society honoring academic achievement by first-year students at institutions of higher learning. The society has chapters on 378 campuses across the United States and has inducted more than 1.1 million scholars since its founding.

The following students were inducted into the Trine University chapter on April 20:

  • Nathaniel Buening, a chemical engineering major from Glenwood;
  • Ragan Cantrell, a psychology and criminal justice major from Garrett;
  • Jacquelyn Dayhoff, a sport management major from Angola;
  • Robert Dick Jr., a chemistry major from Lawrence, Michigan;
  • Alexander Fox, a biomedical engineering major from Plymouth;
  • Noah Gaar, an exercise science/pre-physical therapy major from Pendleton;
  • Jessica Griffioen, an English and communications major from Sturgis, Michigan;
  • Andrea Hagar, a forensic science and biology major from Millersburg;
  • Brian Karr, a chemical engineering major from Valparaiso;
  • Madelyn Keegan, a psychology major from Hamilton;
  • Kathrine Kline, a biomedical engineering major from Kendallville;
  • Natalee Landel, an accounting major from Edgerton, Ohio;
  • Sarina Loza, a psychology and criminal justice major from Goshen;
  • Carma McCombs, a design engineering technology major from Greentown;
  • Alexis McKean, a sport management major from Tekonsha, Michigan;
  • Robert Morehouse, a civil engineering major from Mentone;
  • Caitlin Muhlenkamp, a civil engineering major from South Bend;
  • Rebekah Parsons, a criminal justice major from Walkerton;
  • Thomas Rivet, an exercise science/pre-physical therapy major from Howell, Michigan;
  • Calvin Rizzo, a civil engineering major from Fishers;
  • Marisa Robinett, a biomedical engineering major from Auburn;
  • Montana Sebert, an exercise science/pre-physical therapy major from Auburn;
  • Aaron Smith, a biomedical engineering major from Deshler, Ohio;
  • Brittani Smith, a mechanical engineering major from Indianapolis;
  • Jared Thomas, a mechanical engineering major from Brownsburg; and
