Sponsored by the National Education Association, Read Across America has been held each year on March 2, the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel (Dr. Seuss), since 1998. About 50 Trine University volunteers — including mascot Storm, football players and dancers — participated in the effort, reading in 55 classrooms at five area elementary schools. Tusk, the Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute, will bring the band’s greatest hits to the stage of Trine University’s T. Furth Center for Performing Arts on Friday, Nov. 17.
