Kline co-authors journal article, book chapter

November 07, 2016

KlineAnthony Kline, Ph.D., interim dean of the Franks School of Education at Trine University, recently co-authored a research article published in a peer-reviewed journal and a chapter in a book on study abroad programs for educators.

“To See or Not to See: Preservice Teacher Attitudes Toward Color Blindness,” which included Kline as a co-author, was published in the Spring 2016 edition of the Teacher Educator journal. The research examined the perspectives of education students on diversity at the beginning and end of a 16-week course.

Kline also co-authored a chapter in the “Handbook of Research on Efficacy and Implementation of Study Abroad Programs for P-12 Teachers,” which will be published by IGI Global in December. The book highlights developments in study abroad programs for teachers and teacher education students, including the opportunities available and the challenges encountered during the development and implementation of study abroad programs.

Kline collaborated with faculty from Ball State University on both projects.
