Many students enjoy Beach Bash

September 19, 2016

Beach Bash

Nearly 500 students, faculty and staff attended Trine University’s first Beach Bash on Sept. 16. “Trine Beach” with sand, water and a volleyball net was created on the lawn of the Rick L. and Vicki L. James University Center for the event. A hog roast with three sauces served as the main course, and entertainment was provided by Island Vibe.

“It went really well. When you looked around you saw lots of smiles and lots of students playing volleyball and cornhole,” said Mary Ditmars, executive assistant for the Office of the President, who coordinated the event. “We had a lot of positive student feedback. Many said it was one of the best events they’ve attended at Trine.”
