History

Minor

A history minor is an excellent way to examine historical questions and issues regardless of which major you choose to pursue. Students must complete 15 credit hours within the selection of history courses.

By studying history, you gain invaluable skills, whether your future is in criminal justice, law, psychology or other careers. History teaches an appreciation of change and continuity over time, as well as helping to develop skills in communicating ideas and critical thinking. The study of history is a fundamental part of a liberal education.
