Surgical Technology Admission Process

1. Complete an application for admission to the program
The Surgical Technology application is free and there is no essay required. 

2. Send official transcripts
Submit your high school transcript and transcripts from any community college or university you attended to:

3. Schedule a personal interview/tour
You will be contacted for an interview/tour of our Fort Wayne facility by Jennifer Lloyd, director of Surgical Technology (lloydj@trine.edu). Upon acceptance into the Surgical Technology program, a formal letter will be sent to you. 

4. Submit an enrollment deposit  
To secure a space in the next fall cohort, you must submit a $150 enrollment deposit that will be applied toward your first semester tuition bill (non-refundable after May 1st)

Reminder: Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

To be eligible for every financial aid opportunity, we encourage students to file their FAFSA prior to the Indiana deadline of April 15th. Trine’s school code for FAFSA is 001839. Apply online at fafsa.ed.gov and visit our financial aid site for more information.
