Associate

ACBSP logoAn Associate in accounting degree is designed to prepare students for immediate entry into the accounting field. Our accredited program combines a concentration in accounting, business, and general education subjects.

With this program, you can graduate with a degree in two years.  Credits are also fully transferable to the four year accounting major at Trine, and it serves as an excellent program for just this purpose.  The Associate in accounting program requires 22 credits of general education, 38 credits in business courses for a total of 60 credit hours.

Our faculty are experts in the accounting field, with both US and international corporate experience, both in Europe and Africa. Our real world program is intense and focused on getting you the best education in modern accounting methods and practices. We teach using the most popular small business accounting software, Quickbooks, as an integral part of the program.

The Results

This program is appropriate for positions in businesses that require a small but knowledgeable accounting staff such as accounts receivable clerk, accounting assistant, billing clerk, bookkeeper, payroll clerk, etc.
