I love teaching. As a product of two proud public school teachers, I never doubted my future in education. However, I never expected to be back at my alma mater working with the next generation of educators.

After graduating from Trine University, I was a high-school science teacher in northeast and central Indiana. While in the classroom I earned my MS in educational leadership from Indiana University School of Education - IUPUI and along the way became passionate about creating high-quality blended and online learning experiences for all students. A few years later, I transitioned from K-12 to higher education. After my tenure as the Director of Technology, Innovation, and Pedagogy for the IU School of Education at IUPUI, I was fortunate enough to return to the Trine family as an assistant professor.

I’m a Certified Educational Technology Leader (CETL), a Level 2 Google Certified Educator, and am currently pursuing my doctorate in educational technology from Central Michigan University. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband Patrick and my two daughters, Andi, 4, and Austyn, 1, as well as listening to podcasts, consuming a significant amount of coffee, and singing as loud as I possibly can while driving down the highway.
