With an undergraduate major in computers, I soon found the need to find an occupation that produced more of a personal impact on society. Therefore, I attained a master degree in mental health counseling and began working for a community mental health center. This job was a very challenging but rewarding experience that helped me to attain my license as a mental health counselor. I currently own and operate my own private mental health counseling practice, Pathway to Clarity, LLC.

I not only want to help my clients to heal, but I also want to affect the field of psychology. I found teaching at Trine helps to fill this desire. Helping students attain real life experience within the field of psychology is the foundation of my teaching style.

In addition to having a career I love, I am also blessed to have two beautiful children who make my life complete. Hanging out at the lake, watching the kids in their activities, and just sitting and listening are all activities we enjoy as a family.
