The Trine Center for Sports Studies is a multidisciplinary teaching and experiential learning collaborative at Trine University focusing on the study of sports and the international sports industry. The Center draws from well-respected Trine University programs and courses in business, health sciences and communication to provide the broadest range of sports-related academic major, minors and internships to prepare Trine students for this fast-growing, dynamic international marketplace.

POST GUIDELINES

The Trine Center for Sports Studies Blog aims to post research, theoretical, review, and limited opinion articles focused on sport management, exercise science, golf management, health and physical education, sport and recreation, physical therapy, sport broadcasting, esports, athletic training, coaching, and sport psychology. Guests bloggers are encouraged to submit posts reflecting current issues in one of these areas.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Blog posts for the Trine Center for Sports Studies Blog must be e-mailed to CSS Director Brandon Podgorski at podgorskib@trine.edu. Please use 'CSS Blog Submission' in the subject line.

Blog submissions are reviewed by Professor Podgorski, or another member of the CSS committee, and will generally be approved or sent back for corrections, within 72 hours. Posts will be evaluated in terms of relevance to the above topics, breadth of research, and clarity of writing. Guest bloggers should be prepared to provide relevant citations and references in their posts.

Anyone with expertise and interest in one of the above topics is welcome to submit a guest post for the CSS Blog. We ask that submissions approximately be between 500 - 1,000 words, not including references.

STYLE GUIDE

When preparing blog posts for submission, authors should follow the guidelines in the Publication manual of the American Psychological Association (7th ed.).
